PHILADELPHIA NAVY YARD – BUILDING 531 RENOVATION

Project Location: Philadelphia Navy Yard

Description: SPR was contracted to return a building constructed in 1939 to its original look. This restoration included demolition and abatement, as well as new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, masonry, fire protection, and underground utilities.

917 FORCE PROTECTION PROJECT

Contract Value: $1.25 Million

Project Location: 25 Locations throughout Upstate NY

Description: Project consisted of security and force protection upgrades at Armed Forces Recruiting Stations. This project involved extensive logistic and execution coordination to successfully work at 25 locations simultaneously.

CHAMPLAIN CARGO CONFERENCE ROOM AND IMPORT SPECIALIST REORGANIZATION

Project Location: Champlain LPOE Cargo Station – GSA Branch 237 West Service Road, Champlain, NY 12919

Description: For this project, SPR constructed 4 new office spaces, which included new partition walls, flooring, electrical, mechanical, and communication lines. Because this project was split into 5 phases, SPR was able to complete all construction without having to vacate the offices.

ANDERSON AIR FORCE BASE, GUAM – DESIGN/BUILD FIRE ALARM & FIRE SUPPRESSION

Project Location: Anderson Air Force Base, Guam

Description: This project was a Design/Build Contract to provide Fire Protection throughout several buildings. Fire Protection included mass notification systems (strobes and speakers), control panel, fire detectors, sprinklers, and emergency lights with backup battery power.

PHILADELPHIA NAVY YARD – BUILDING 1 HISTORICAL RENOVATION OF BRICK FACADES

Project Location: Philadelphia Navy Yard

Description: This scope of this project was to cut, clean, and repoint the brick on one of the oldest buildings in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Due to the building’s location, dustless and dust control methods had to be used throughout the duration of the project.

MAJ. JAMES J. O’DONOVAN AFRC EMERGENCY REPLACE EAST WING ROOF

Description: This project involved the demolition of approximately 6500 square feet of rubber roofing, followed by the installation of insulation and TPO roofing. This project also included metal fabrication and masonry work.

UNITED STATES EMBASSY, COLOMBO, SRI LANKA ROOF REPLACEMENT

Project Location: 94 Horton Place, Colombo, Sri Lanka

Description: SPR was awarded this contract to demolish the existing roof on the United States Embassy, as well as to reinstall a new roof. The contract also includes structural inspection and repair to be done as the new roof is being installed.
